Welcome to the crown jewel of the Tetons — Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
Nestled in Teton Village, Wyoming, and widely regarded as one of North America’s most iconic ski destinations. With sweeping alpine vistas, varied terrain and a bold mountain personality, it's the perfect setting for the Compass Alpine Club 3rd Annual Event.
Spanning more than 2,500 skiable acres, Jackson Hole offers 131 trails served by 13 lifts, including gondolas, high-speed quads and the famed Aerial Tram (aka “Big Red”) that ascends nearly 4,139 vertical feet in just minutes. The terrain is bold: while its reputation is built on steep runs and back-country-style terrain, the resort has made great strides to accommodate all levels of skier and rider.
On the one hand, expert skiers will find legendary zones like the bowls, chutes and glades off Rendezvous Mountain, including the infamous Corbet’s Couloir — a true bucket-list drop. On the other hand, approximately 40% of the resort’s terrain is now rated intermediate, with generous groomed runs and beginner-friendly areas accessible via lifts such as the Sweetwater Gondola, Teewinot and Eagle’s Rest.
With an average annual snowfall hovering around 450 inches, the conditions at Jackson Hole are often deep, dry and powder-filled. Whether you’re carving groomers, banking big turns in the bowls, or simply savoring the mountain atmosphere, this resort delivers on the full spectrum of alpine adventure.
